Connect HealthFix to anything
Your clinic's patients, appointments, queue, bills and records, available to your website, your apps and AI assistants through a simple, secure API.
Quickstart
Make your first API call in 5 minutes. Every step explained.
API reference
Every endpoint with the fields it takes and an example answer.
AI assistants (MCP)
Let Claude, Cursor or VS Code look up patients and book visits.
What is an API, in plain words?#
An API lets two programs talk to each other. Your website (or any other app) sends HealthFix a short message like “give me today's appointments”, and HealthFix replies with the list. No screen, no clicking, just data.
To prove the message really comes from your clinic, it carries an API key: a long secret password made just for that app. You create keys yourself in HealthFix and can switch them off at any time.
What you can build#
Booking on your website
Show free slots and create appointments straight from your own site.
WhatsApp or chat bots
Let a bot tell patients their next appointment or queue token.
Sheets, CRM & accounting
Copy new patients or daily collections into Google Sheets, Zoho or Tally.
AI assistants
Ask “who is next in my queue?” and get the answer from your clinic.
Ready-made walkthroughs for these are in Step-by-step recipes.
What you need#
- A HealthFix account in a clinic (admin, doctor or receptionist). Keys are created under Settings → API & integrations.
- Anything that can send a web request: a few lines of code, a no-code tool like Zapier, Make or n8n, or even the terminal.
- Nothing else. There is no SDK to install and no approval process.
Everything lives on this site
/api/v1. The examples in these docs already show your site's address, so you can copy and paste them as they are.Built to keep patient data safe#
- A key only does what you allow (for example “read appointments” but not “read clinical records”).
- A key can never sign in, manage staff, change settings, export data or delete anything.
- Every call is written to your clinic's audit log, marked with the key that made it.
- Keys can expire automatically and can be revoked with one click.
